Allen Lee Bare, age 88 years of Greensburg, IN passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2005 in Batesville, IN. Born January 17, 1917 in Decatur County, IN, he was the son of William & Hester (Risk) Bare. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII serving in Africa & Europe and also a life long farmer. Mr. Bare is survived by his sons Denzel (Diana) Bare of St. Omer, IN and Gary (Jennie) Bare of New Point, IN; daughters Sharon (Harold) Coy of Greensburg, IN and Carolyn (Tom) Laker of New Point, IN; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; sister Ruth Knarr of West Port, IN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 grandson and sister Erma Colson. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-6pm at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN. Funeral Services will be Friday, April 29 at 10:00 AM with Minister Mark Vice officiating at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rossburg Cemetery in New Point, IN. Memorials are suggested to New Point Christina Church or Margaret Mary Hospital Home Health Care.
