Anna Mae Bess, age 94 of Harrison, OH passed away Monday, August 6, 2012 at Lake Ridge Villa in Cincinnati, OH. Born March 31, 1918 in Cincinnati, OH she was the daughter of Thomas & Anna (Grothaus) Cuff. The 1936 graduate of Seton High School married Joseph Bess on January 19, 1949 in Cincinnati, OH and he preceded her in death on May 13, 1992. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Harrison, OH. Anna Mae is survived by her children Debbie A. Whalen and Jo Ann Bess both of Harrison, OH. She will also be missed by her 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son Tom Bess. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 10:00am at St. John the Baptist Church with Rev. Jeffrey M. Kemper officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph New Cemetery.
