Anthony Henson, age 63 of Milan, IN passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Margaret Mary Health in Batesville, IN. Born August 15, 1949 in Milan, IN he was the son of Jimmy & Flossie (Gilbert) Henson. Anthony worked as an over-the-road truck driver for Triton Transportation and then for Batesville Tool & Die. He married Shirley Norman on June 28, 1969 in Milan and was a member of the Hope Baptist Church in Dillsboro, IN. Mr. Henson is survived by his wife Shirley Henson, sons Tony (Maggie) Henson, James (Lisa) Henson, and daughter Cheryl (Steve) Whittaker. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Skyeler & Taylor Henson, Heather Griffin, Bradley & Ashley Henson, brothers Doug & Mark Henson and sisters Carolyn Palmer & Joy Whitham. Visitation will be Monday, May 6, 2013 from 4-7pm at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN. Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 10:00am with Tom Holt officiating at the funeral home. Burial will be in Batesville United Methodist Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family c/o Meyers Funeral Home.
