Anthony 'Tony' Joseph Bland, 70, of Batesville, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Margaret Mary Hospital.

He was born on December 8, 1951 to parents Clifford and Marie (Wettering) Bland.

Tony was a long time employee for the CSX Railroad. He seemed to always be active and loved sports. Tony will be remembered as an all-around good guy.

Tony is survived by his sisters, Jean Kruthaupt (Mike) and Mary Stratman; nephews, Charlie and Rich (Robyn); niece, Katie; cousin and good friend, Tom Miller.

Special thanks to the many Batesville residents who treated Tony with respect and dignity. Someone was always there when he needed assistance. Special thanks to his cousin, Tom Miller, the "girls" at the Batesville Public Library, and RomWeber Flats staff and residents. Our deepest thanks to all who assisted Tony!

Tony's wishes were to be cremated. There will be no services.
