Anthony "Tony" Wayne Blanken, formerly of Batesville passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025 at University Hospital in Louisville. Born on June 27, 1947, he was the son of Lawrence and Frances (Brown) Blanken. He was 77 years old.

Tony proudly served his nation in the United States Army with two tours of duty during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Kenna Blanken; stepson, Warren and Dawn (Oberting) Martin; grandchildren, Austin, Brandon, Charles & Isabel Blanken, Alyssa (Hunter) Poth, and Samuel Martin; great grandson, Archer Poth; multiple nieces and nephews; along with one brother, and sister-in-law, Stanley and Melinda Blanken; and former wife, Marsha Blanken.

Friends and family may call on Friday, June 20, 2025 from 10 AM – 11 AM followed a military honors service at 11 AM, conducted by the Batesville VFW Post #3183 and Prell-Bland American Legion Post #271, all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville.
