Barbara Marie Budd, age 84 of Batesville, IN passed away Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Ripley Crossing in Milan, IN. Born January 11, 1928 in Victor, CO she was the daughter of Thomas James & Cordelia (Bush) Molloy. She worked in the sewing dept. of Hillenbrand Industries for 24 ½ years. She married Clifford Budd on March 30, 1950 in Denver, CO and is a member of Church on the Rock in Batesville. Barbara is survived by her husband Clifford Budd, children James Allen Budd of Montgomery Village, MD, Gail Lynn (Thomas) Needham of Centerville, VA, Thomas Pat (Leta) Budd of Greensburg, IN, Janet Lea Budd of Bellevue, NE, Sharon Michelle (Roy) Palmer of Dry Ridge, KY & John Dennis Budd of Batesville, IN. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Nicholas Paul Budd, Kyle Needham, Aaron R. Budd, Matthew Budd, DJ Budd, Michael Wayne Palmer, Robert Matthew Palmer, Jeffrey Curtis Palmer & Leslie Neuman and great grandchildren Mallory Lane, Simon Addler, Chole Diann, Ivan Knight, and Grant Avery Palmer, Matthew Neuman & Sarah Neuman, Sisters Rita Mae Elsen & Jackie M. Schaffer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter Jennifer Needham. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 4, 2012 from 5-8pm at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN. Services will be Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 12noon at Church on the Rock with Pastor Roger Dean officiating. Burial will be in Rossburg Cemetery, New Point, IN. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Memorials may be brought to the visitation/service or mail to Meyers Funeral Home.
