Bart Alan Abplanalp, age 37 years of Indianapolis, IN passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2007 at his home. Born June 11, 1970 in Greensburg, IN he was the son of Jerry & Sue (Steinkamp) Abplanalp. Bart was a 1988 graduate of Greensburg High School & 1993 graduate of Purdue University. He was a pharmacist at Home Hospital in Lafayette and before that, at Meijer in Indianapolis. He attended the Christian Church in Indianapolis. Bart is survived by his parents Jerry & Sue Abplanalp of Greensburg, IN; son Jake Abplanalp of Indianapolis, IN; sister Callie (Ryan) Tamm of Greensburg, IN; brother Brett (Amber) Abplanalp of Greensburg, IN; niece Kayla Tamm and aunts, uncles & cousins. Visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007 from 2-4 PM at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN. Funeral Services will be Monday, Sept. 10, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Danny Wolford officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery in Batesville, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Education Fund for Jake Abplanalp c/o the funeral home.
