Berdella Lydia Rimstidt, age 81 years of Greensburg, IN formerly Napoleon, IN passed away Saturday morning, November 14, 2009 at Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg. Born February 12, 1928 in Batesville, she was the daughter of the late Elmer & Viola (Kreinhop) Bauer. The 1946 graduate of Batesville High School married James E. Rimstidt on June 13, 1946 at St. Paul Lutheran Church Crossroads in Batesville, IN. He passed away October 21, 2008. Berdella enjoyed going on vacations. She especially enjoyed going with her husband James to Yellow Stone National Park out west. She also enjoyed playing cards in her Tuesday Card Club. This group has been together since High School. Most of all, she enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed by them and lots of friends. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Napoleon, IN. Berdella is survived by her sons James Donald (Barbara Wilson) Rimstidt of Christiansburg, VA; Tom (Cindy) Rimstidt of Osgood, IN & Dan (Diana) Rimstidt of Loveland, OH; grandchildren Amy Harrelson, Phillip Rimstidt & Heather Bowling and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 17, 2009 from 5-8pm at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 10:00am at St. John Lutheran Church in Napoleon, IN with Pastor Gary Groth officiating. Burial will be in St. John Church Cemetery.
