Bernadette "Bernetta" (Baker) Carpenter Buettner, wife of DeWayne Johnson, age 50, died at her residence in Springfield, Tennessee on November 12, 2014. Born January 17, 1964, the daughter of Geraldine (Monroe) Baker and the late James Baker. She was a graduate of the 1982 class of William Henry Harrison High School, Harrison, Ohio. Most of her life was spent in this area, just recently moving to Tennessee. She is survived by her children, Jason Carpenter & Melissa Carpenter; grandchildren, Emma, Zachery, Zavier, Kadin, Braylon, Masyn & Westyn; her twin sister, Georgetta (Jeff) Jones; brothers, Andy (Erica) Baker & Darrell (Becky) Baker; along with her Aunt Bertha Baker; second Mom, Lois Harper and family; plus many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Memorial Services will be held, Saturday, November 29, 2014 at St, John's United Church of Christ at Broadway and Sycamore Streets in Harrison, Ohio at 3:00 PM with Rev. Harold Shackelford officiating. Contributions may be made to the Family for funeral expenses.
