Beryl Hindman Boerner, age 99 formerly of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018 at St. Andrews Health Campus, Batesville, Indiana with a heart too full to hold any more love. The daughter of Matthew and Bertha (Weyandt) Hindman was born on June 1, 1918 in Windber, Pennsylvania.

The Penn State graduate worked as a Registered Dietitian until she retired at 80.  She married William Henry Boerner and he preceded her in death in 1989.

She is survived by her daughters, Jane (Eric) Foreman of Aiken, SC, Elizabeth (Dean) Fleenor of Bluffton, SC and Susan (the late Raymond) Fortman of Greensburg, IN, her son William H. (Ellen) Boerner II ofVirginia Beach, VA, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren; along with her younger sister Marjorie Boone.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by her older sister, Ann Zahm.

A memorial service will be held in Johnstown, Pennsylvania at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the Beryl Boerner Memorial Scholarship through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation or Eastridge Presbyterian Church in Lincoln, NE.
