Betty Adkins, age 81 of Cincinnati, OH died Monday morning, February 3, 2014 at Shawneespring Care Center in Harrison, OH. The daughter of Robert & Dora Scites was born on September 1, 1932 in Midkiff, WV. She was one of fourteen children. Betty loved having fun. She loved shopping, flea markets, flowers & listening to Floyd Cramer and Patsy Cline music. Betty was a very successful business woman. Betty became a grandmother in 1987 and a great grandmother in 2008 and 2013. Betty is survived by her daughter-in-law Jackie Adkins of Sunman, IN, granddaughter Ashley (Cory) Peters and two great grandchildren Collin Randal & Rhythm Isabella and seven siblings. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Randy Adkins and six siblings. Visitation will be Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 1 2pm followed by services at 2pm at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN. Burial will take place at St. Paul Cemetery, Sunman, IN at a later date.
