Betty Plunkett, age 85 of Bright, IN passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013 at her home. Born March 25, 1928 in Redwood Falls, MN, Betty was the daughter of Alvin & Edith (Biggers) Huhnerkoch. The graduate of Redwood Falls High School was a Bible Teacher, Choir Director and member of the Bright Christian Church. Betty is survived by her husband Jim Plunkett, children Mark Plunkett, Paul Plunkett, Mary Adams, Ruth Frederick & Sara Haring. She will also be missed by her 22 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and her brother Jack Huhnerkoch. A Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11:00am at Bright Christian Church with Rev. Jeff Stone officiating. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be given to the Joash project of the Bright Christian Church, 24457 State Line Rd., Bright, IN 47025.
