Betty June Rohlfing, age 91 of New Point, Indiana passed away on Friday July 7, 2017 at her home. Born June 16, 1926 to Walter and Mae (Venter) King in St. Peters, Indiana.

Betty graduated from Greensburg High School.  She retired from James River Corporation and later worked for a time at Developmental Services.  Betty was a member of the New Point Christian church, where she had taught Sunday School, helped with Vacation Bible School, the live nativity scene and other church events.

She is survived by her daughter Mary Ann (Kendall) Hart, grandson Steven (Jill) Hart and 3 step-great grandchildren, Justin, Jacob and Madison; sisters Bernice Alverson, Evelyn Weber and brother Edward King along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Mary Dudley and Alice Busser and her brother Robert King.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-7pm with Funeral Services at 10:00am on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 all at New Point Christian Church.  Mark Vice officiating with burial to follow in Rossburg Cemetery.
