Betty Lou Vison, age 74 of Batesville, IN formerly Manchester, IN died Wednesday, February 4, 2009, at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Born August 11, 1934 in Cincinnati, OH, she is the daughter of Andrew W. & Frankie Mildred (Fisher) Peters. She married Floyd Paul Vinson on September 5, 1951 in Lawrenceburg, IN. Betty retired from Pri-Pac and later worked at Hillenbrand Industries. She was a member of Berean Baptist Church in Batesville. A letter written by Betty to her family reads: To my husband & children, you have my love for all time! To my grandchildren and great grandchildren, be happy and lead a loving life. Keep your faith in God. To the rest of my family on both sides, I love you all very much! To my nieces & nephews on both sides, you are all special to me: Floyd, children, grandchildren & great grandchildren, I will love you all into infinity! She is survived by her husband Floyd Vison, daughters Carol (Edward) Nunlist & Melissa Hiltenbeitel both of Batesville, IN & Andrea (Richard) Semrow of Port Huron, MI; sons Paul (Rita) Vinson of Dillsboro, IN, Kurt Vinson of Batesville, IN & Tim (Cathy) Vinson of Cleves, OH; 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and brother Robert Peters of Cincinnati, OH. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 1 grandson, 7 brothers and 4 sisters. Visitation is Friday, February 6, 2009 from 4-7pm at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the funeral home with Pastor Toby Huff officiating. Burial will follow at Hogan Hill Cemetery near Manchester, IN. Memorials are suggested to the family.
