Butch' Alvin Francis Sunderhaus Jr., age 50, of Sunman, Indiana died suddenly Friday, February 10, 2012 at Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville, IN. The son of Alvin & the late Charlene (Roy) Sunderhaus was born May 8, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He married Evelyn Spurlock on April 23, 1983 in Sunman, IN. Butch was a mechanic at Jake Sweeney KIA in Florence, KY. There he achieved the status as one of the Top 16 KIA Technicians in the U.S. Butch loved to hunt, fish and be outdoors. He was a jack of all trades' and could fix just about anything. He will be truly missed by his wife, Evelyn, and children Joey (Ronda) Sunderhaus and Sarah (Nate Gibson) Sunderhaus both of Sunman; granddaughter, Mackenzie Ann Kay Gibson along with his father, Alvin and step-mother, Dolly Sunderhaus of Sunman; several nieces and nephews, three great nieces and one great nephew. He will also be missed by his sister Linda (Greg) Schmidt of Harrison, OH and sister-in-law Melissa Sunderhaus of Brookville, IN. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Leo Sunderhaus this past year. Visitation, Thursday, February 16, 2012 from 5-8pm with the Funeral Service on Friday, February 17th at 11:00am all at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN with Rev. William J. Dorrmann officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery in Harrison, OH. Memorials may be given to the family care of the funeral home.
