Cathy Ann Green, age 68, of Batesville, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

Born on May 25, 1956, Cathy was the beloved daughter of the late Paul and Pauline (Hountz) Oswald. She grew up alongside her sister, Theresa Oswald, and her three brothers, Dennis, Terry (Barbara Canada), and Tim Oswald.

Cathy was a woman of quiet strength and deep passions. A true movie buff, she found joy in stories on the screen and loved spending time in the kitchen collecting and crafting new recipes. Her green thumb brought beauty to her garden, and she shared a special bond with her beloved cats throughout her life.

Cathy devoted many years of her life working as a veterinary assistant, where her love and compassion for animals touched many lives.

She is survived by her loving children, William Green (Amberley Green) and Devonna Wolter (Adam Wolter), and her cherished grandchildren, Caleb Green, Mason Green, Seth Phillips, and Layne Phillips. Cathy also leaves behind her adored great-granddaughter, Octavia Green.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, creative spirit, and the love she shared with her family and friends.

Friends and family may call from 11am -1pm on Monday, April 14, 2025 with a 1pm funeral service following, all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville. Rev. Joey Feldman officiating. Burial will follow in the Batesville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
