Cathy Jo Sager, NP, RN, MSN FNP C, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at UC Hospital in Cincinnati. She was 52 years old. The daughter of Elvin and Ruth Sager was born on May 26, 1968 in Portland, Indiana.

Cathy graduated from Ball State University with her Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science in Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse and nurse practitioner for several hospitals over the years, including IU Health Ball Memorial in Muncie, Rush Memorial in Rushville, along with IU Health Methodist and Indiana Heart both in Indianapolis. Most recently she worked for Daviess Community Hospital in Washington, Indiana.

She is survived by her sister, Debra Flospohler (Donald) of Batesville and brother, Stephen Sager (Su) of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Diana Vance and long time partner, Dr. Joe Calderizzo.
