Charles G. Williams, Jr. of New Point, IN died Saturday, October 9, 2004 at the age of 90 yrs. old. He was born April 4, 1914 to Charles Sr. & Letta (Collicutt) Williams in New Pennington, IN. Mr. Williams was a 1932 Graduate of New Point High School and a member of the New Point Christian Church. He retired from the Highway Equipment Co. (a Caterpillar Dealer in Cincinnati) and was also a life long farmer. Mr. Williams married Mary Olive Minning on September 28, 1936 in Indianapolis and she preceeded him in death on April 4, 2004. He is survived by one daughter Shirley (Bobby) Maines of Durham, NC and one son Gordon (Carol) Williams of London, OH and 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. One son Charles V. Williams and two brothers Andrew & John Williams preceeded her in death. Visitation, Friday, October 15, 2004, 5:00-8:00pm at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN. Funeral services Saturday, October 16, 2004, 10:00am at the New Point Christian Church with a half hour calling before the service. Pastor Mark Vice officiating with burial immediately following at the Rossburg Cemetery in New Point, IN. Memorials may be made to the New Point Christian Church Building Fund.
