Clarence Emmett "Ace" Fryman, age 88 of Dillsboro, IN passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg, IN. He was born on February 25, 1927 in Dearborn County, IN, the son of Ballard & Bertha (Small) Fryman. Ace served his county proudly in the US Army during Korea. On October 6, 1951 he married Ruth Swango in Lawrenceburg, IN and was a member of the Green Chapel Baptist Church. Ace became a born again Christian in 1971. He served as a deacon, trustee, treasurer, Sunday School teacher and drove the church bus. He also played every weekend in a Gospel Band. He and his wife said becoming a Christian was the greatest thing they had ever done. Ace is survived by his wife Ruth Fryman; his children Ralph (Karen) Fryman, Carl Fryman, Troy Fryman & Connie (Mark) Laaker. He will also be missed by his 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews, his brothers Lovell Fryman & George Fryman and sisters Wanda Hill & Emma Lou Schweback. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Thurman Fryman, John Fryman, Joe Fryman, Thelma Cherry & Irene Edwards. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
