Clester Loy Newport, age 82 years of Cincinnati, OH passed away Friday, December 8, 2006 in Fairfield, OH. Born November 22, 1924 in Cincinnati, OH he was the son of the late Jerry Miar & Ida (Stonecipher) Newport. He married Irene Correll on June 26, 1948. Mr. Newport was a salesman for Beautician Supply in Cincinnati, OH. He was a US Coast Guard Merchant Marine veteran, member of White Oak Christian Church. Mr. Newport is survived by his wife Irene Newport; daughter Bonita Newport, sons Michael (Debora) & Clester Jerry (Sandra) Newport; grandchildren Brian, Jennifer, Sean & Dylan Newport, James Haas & Amy and brothers Ronald & Paul Newport. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Lucille Uglum & Helen Hertzenburg. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 12, 2006 from 11 AM-1PM followed by services at 1 PM all at White Oak Christian Church with Mason Seevers officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Memorials Gardens. Memorials are suggested to Hamilton County Humane Society c/o the funeral home.
