Clifford D. Black, age 79 years of Harrison, OH passed away Thursday, December 29, 2005 in Cincinnati, OH. Born July 9, 1926 in Wallingford, KY he was the son of the late Sanford Elmore & Minnie A. (Hollar) Black. He was a US Army Veteran during WWII and member of Smyrna Baptist Church in New Trenton, IN where he served as a Deacon. He married Anna Elizabeth Reuter on July 29, 1948 in Germany. Mr. Black is survived by his wife Anna E. Black, children Kitty Allen of W. Harrison, IN; Elizabeth Remle of Hamilton, OH; Carolyn Carins of Harrison, OH and Larry Black of Harrison, OH; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brother Earl Black of Hamilton, OH and sister Mary Beiland of Maysville, KY. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Evelyn Hord. Visitation will be Monday, January 2, 2006 from 11am-1pm followed by services at 1:00pm all at Smyrna Baptist Church in New Trenton, IN with Rev. Shawn Crisman officiating. Graveside military rites will be preformed by the Harrison Funeral Detail at Glen Haven Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the American Lung Assoc.
