Conley I. Beard of Oldenburg, Indiana passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 77 years old. The son of Sam and Mary (Brewer) Beard was born on April 25, 1947 in Booneville, Kentucky.

Conley married Linda Williamson in 1979. He worked at Hill-Rom until his retirement in 2007. He loved wood working and refurbishing furniture. Conley could look at anything and then figure out how to make it. But most of all he loved being with his family especially his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Roger (April) Beard and Kelley (Mike) Ferrantelli; six grandchildren, Kimberly, Shelby, Dustin, Dalton, Johny and Shyla; eight great grandchildren; siblings, Lillie Caudill and Claude Beard along with his beloved dogs, Casey & Jack.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Conway Beard and siblings, Jeannette Potter, Hobart Beard, Cora Webb and Rufus Beard.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 11am-1pm with a 1:00pm funeral service immediately following, all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville. Burial will follow in St. Mark Cemetery. Rev. Jill Kepler Campbell.
