Craig Scott Bridgeford, age 49 years of Batesville, IN passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at his home. Born September 7, 1960 in Cincinnati, OH he is the son of the late Wallace & Lora (Nee: Ross) Bridgeford. Craig was a 1978 graduate of Western Hills High School. He worked maintenance at The Waters of Batesville. Craig loved animals and going fishing. His family said he did not like being indoors, he always wanted to be outside doing something. He married Melody Holt on July 16, 1992 in Versailles, IN. Craig is survived by his wife Melody Bridgeford; mother Lora Bridgeford of Cincinnati, OH; daughters Julie & Kelly Bridgeford both of Cincinnati, OH; step daughters Holly (Troy) Hurst of Batesville, IN & Alicia Gibbs of Scottsburg, IN; sister Linda Kleinholz of Cincinnati, OH; brothers Dale Bridgeford of Louisville, KY; Jim Bridgeford of Brookville, IN & Bill Bridgeford of Greendale, IN; 9 grandchildren & many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Wallace Bridgeford. Visitation will be Friday, November 6, 2009 from 11am 2pm followed by services at 2pm all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN with Pastor Tom Holt officiating. Burial will be in the United Methodist Cemetery in Batesville. Memorials are suggested to the family.
