Curtis Lowry, age 38, of Batesville, IN passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Born on March 4, 1973 in Perryville, MO, he was the son of Linda Jensen and Donnie Lowry. He attended St. Pius the X School (Cedar Rapids, IA), Regis Catholic High School (Cedar Rapids, IA), and Zionsville Community High School (Zionsville, IN). Curt served 8 years in the United States Air Force and was a Senior Systems Engineer with Hill-Rom for 11 years. Curt enjoyed spending time with his children, family, and friends. He loved fishing, music, cooking and was an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts. Curt will be remembered for his outgoing personality and fun-loving attitude. Curtis is survived by his two children, Christopher Lowry and Megan Lowry. He is also survived by his mother & stepfather Linda & Robert Jensen of Schererville, IN, father Donnie Lowry, siblings, Kelly Lowry of Emeryville, CA, Shellie (Timothy) Longacre of Highland, IN, Carrie (Brian) Conover of Chicago, IL. Curt was adored by his nephew and two nieces. Visitation will be Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 11am until time of services at 2pm with Rev. Larry Dimick officiating, all at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN with military honors to follow at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the family by making checks to Fifth Third Bank and sending it to the funeral home.
