Danny Charles Johnson, age 61 years of Batesville, IN formerly of Brookville, IN passed away Monday, Dec. 1, 2008 at University Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Born June 3, 1947 in Batesville, he is the son of Shirley (Doner) Young of Connersville, IN & the late Leon Young. He is a 1966 graduate of Brookville High School and worked for Batesville Tool & Die. He married Peggy Baker on December 24, 1969 in Lawrenceburg, IN. In addition to his mother, Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife Peggy Johnson, son Jason Johnson of Cedar Grove, IN & daughters Brandy Turner of Batesville, IN & Casey (Kevin) John of Milan, IN. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Trevor Turner, Karisa Turner & Austin John; step grandchildren Tosha John & Josh John; brother Terry (Hilda) Johnson of Connersville, IN; half brothers Gary (Carolynne) Johnson of Piqua, OH & Steven Johnson of Cincinnati, OH and half sister Linda (Sonny) Palmer of Mason, OH. Visitation will be Thursday, December 4, 2008 from 5-7pm followed by services at 7pm all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN with Rev. David Johnston officiating.
