Dennis Wayne Spears, 69, of Greensburg, passed away in Columbus, Indiana on July 7, 2022. He was born in Greensburg, Indiana to Malcom Spears and Jackie Peterson on December 8, 1952.

Dennis was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish. He could also be found playing cards, watching movies, or playing video games. Dennis loved being with his family and grandchildren more than anything.

He is survived by his children, Dennis Wayne Spears II (Lori) of New Point and Mary Ann Glenn (Kenny) of Guilford; grandchildren, Kaelyn, Riley, and Micah Spears; brother, Kelly Spears of Greensburg; and sister, Shirley Hogg of Greensburg.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM with funeral services officiated by Mark Vice following immediately after at 6:00 PM all at New Point Christian Church.

Memorials may be given to the family by bringing to services or mailing to Meyers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 202, Batesville, IN 47006.
