Dixie Eunice Isaacs, age 63 years of Batesville, IN passed away Thursday, December 10, 2009 at Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville, IN. Born December 13, 1945 in Cincinati (Walnut Hills), Ohio she was the daughter of the late John Henry & Alma Opal (Rowland) Lee. She was a 1962 graduate of Brookville High School and attended Community College in Nursing. Mrs. Isaacs belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Batesville. She married WC Isaacs in 1965 at Haytown Hill. He preceded her in death in 1989. Mrs. Isaacs is survived by her daughter Loretta (Phillip) Tesseneer of Batesville, IN & sons Ray Gene (Debbie Mullins) Isaacs of Batesville, IN & Danny (Kim) Isaacs of Laurel, IN. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Renee, Mikheala, Cherokee & WC along with her siblings Bobby, John & Larry Lee, Becky Cowell & Rosie Biggs. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers Barney, Bill & Joe Lee. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 15, 2009 from 4:00 7:00pm followed by services at 7:00pm all at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Bishop Pete Watkins officiating. Memorials are suggested to the family or church c/o the funeral home.
