Donald S. Bamberger, age 79 of Mt. Healthy, OH formerly of Bright, IN passed away Friday, August 19, 2011 at the Mt. Healthy Christian Home in Cincinnati, OH. Born February 22, 1932 in Cincinnati, OH he was the son of the late August & Lorraine (Elstun) Bamberger. The US Navy Veteran of the Korean War was a tile setter for Schoch in Cincinnati. He married Mary Lee Knight on April 16, 1955 at St. Andrew Church in Cincinnati. Donald is survived by his children & their spouses Cynthia & Joe Stegemiller of Rising Sun, IN; Donna & Henry Kishman of Las Vegas, NV; Doug & Mary Bamberger of Sunman, IN; Denise & Brad King of White Oak, OH; Diane & Bill Spraul of Delhi, OH & Dennis & Lynne Bamberger of Harrison, OH. He will also be missed by 15 grandchildren Daniel, Joel, Nick, Sarah, Mary, Allison, Jennifer, Kelly, Matthew, Steven, Erica, Kevin, Emily, Joey & Jack, 6 great grandchildren Alyssa, Alec, Kylee, Collin, Isaac & Makenzi and siblings Ronald Bamberger, Norma Butke, Alvin (Phyllis) Bamberger & Jimmy (Carol) Bamberger. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Lee Bamberger and siblings Tony Bamberger, Lee Bamberger, Betty Stetson & Dorothy Ritzi. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 10:00am at St. Bernard Church of Taylors Creek, 7130 Harrison Ave. Memorials are suggested to American Diabetes Assoc. or Hospice of Cincinnati c/o the funeral home.
