Donald George Hildebrand, 88, of Batesville passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025 at The Waters of Batesville. He was born on November 11, 1936 in as the son of Henry William and Minnie (Boerstler) Hildebrand.

Don was retired from St. Frances St. George Hospital in Cincinnati as a security guard. He also drove a school bus for Batesville Public Schools for several years.

He is survived by his step children: David (Charlotte) Synder, (Daniel (Nancy) Snyder, Darryl (Margaret) Snyder, and Dana (Brad) Jones; grandchildren:  Phil Saragoza (Tonya), Ryan Fitzpatrick, Andrew Saragoza (Kellie), Sarah Snyder-Schultz (George), Thomas Snyder, Amanda Snyder-Moore, Samantha Snyder (Cameron), Daniel Snyder (Brianna), and Madison Jones; great grandchildren Austin Rudd, Annabelle Acheampong, Noah Saragoza, Xavier Saragoza, Oz Snyder-Schultz. Juniper Snyder-Schultz, Leo and Alex Saragoza, Harley Snyder, Madison Forrer, Philippa Moore, Hollis Snyder-Schultz, Fitzgerald Moore, Wyatt Forrer, Laurence Moore, and Aliyah Snyder; brother, Herschel Hildebrand and sister, Patty Venis.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Simone Hildebrand and parents, Henry and Minnie; sisters: Virginia Steelman and Laverne Werner; brother, Marvin Hildebrand; and step brother, Marvin Hacker.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Peppertown Cemetery at 10:00 am with Chris Campbell officiating.
