Doris M. Cook, age 81 years of Columbus, IN formerly of Batesville, IN passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2006 in Columbus. Born March 27, 1924 in Covington, KY she was the daughter, of 12, to the late Arvey & Louise (Stith) Webster. She was married to Donald Cook and retired from Hill-Rom. Mrs. Cook is survived by her sons Ivan L. Childress and Glenn Childress; daughters Donna Murff, Leah Childress-LaFauci and Bobbi Hammond. Visitation will be Saturday, January 14, 2006 from 11-1 pm followed by services at 1:00pm all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN with Rev. Dennis Aud officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Sunman, IN. Memorials are suggested to Hickory Creek at Columbus Nursing Home in Columbus, IN.
