Doris B. LeBlanc, age 90 years of Batesville, IN passed away Friday, April 30, 2004 at her daughter's home in Franklin, IN. She was born August 27, 1913 in Wapakoneta, OH the daughter of Rudolf & Agnes (DuVall) Bachman. She married Phillip E. LeBlanc on May 8, 1937 in Wapakoneta, OH and he preceded her in death on October 18, 1993. She is survived by her daughter Andrea A. Deppe of Franklin, IN; sons Philip N. LeBlanc of Longwood, FL; Paul W. LeBlanc of Montrose, CO and Dennis G. LeBlanc of Batesville, IN; 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sisters Elizabeth Bachman of Wapakoneta, OH and Mary Wadsack of Lake Charles, LA; brothers William Bachman of New Carlisle, OH and Matthias Bachman of Midland, TX. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by twin infant daughters and brothers James & John Bachman. Mrs. LeBlanc was a 1930 graduate of Blume High School in Wapakoneta, OH at the age of 16 and a graduate of Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of St. Mary of the Rock Catholic Church and the Deaconess Alumni Association. She retired from Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville in 1978. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 6, 2004 from 6 8 PM at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, May 7, 2004 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Louis Church Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Louis Endowment Fund or American Heart Association.
