Douglas C. Taylor, Sr. age 92 years of Lawrenceburg, IN passed away Monday, March 09, 2009 in Cincinnati, OH. Born September 29, 1917 in Huntington, WV he was the son of the late Dexter & Mary (Turner) Taylor. Mr. Taylor was Chief Engineer for Hilton Hotels in Mobile, AL. He was a US Navy veteran during WWII, receiving the Purple Heart. He was married to Helen (Grubb) Taylor. Mr. Taylor is survived by his daughter Mary Anna Taylor of Lawrenceburg, IN and son Douglas (Betty) Taylor Jr. of Bright, IN. He will also be missed by his step sister Clara McCall, 6 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren & 2 great great grandchildren. Services will be Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 10:30am at Maple Grove Cemetery in Cleves, OH with graveside military rites by the Harrison Funeral Detail. Memorials are suggested to D.A.V.
