Edith J. Antill, 92, formerly of Sunman, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at her home in Shelbyville, Indiana. She was born on October 7, 1930 to parents Alvis and Susan (Jones) Jordan in Barbourville, Kentucky.

Edith enjoyed being outdoors and going camping and fishing. She liked to read and buy scratch off tickets. She loved her church and collecting angels as well. Above all, Edith loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Edith is survived by her children, Donald (Teri) Antill and David (Theresa) Antill; grandchildren, Barry (Samantha) Webster, Sasha (Drew) Nelson, David Jr. (Makayla) Antill, and Cody Ray Antill; great grandchildren, Rielly, Trey, Chloe, David, Willow, Andrew, Hudson, Waylon, and Granger.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Antill, parents, and siblings, Ottis Jordan, Georgie Smith, Cleaty Thomas, James Randall, Raymond Jordan, and Gentry Jordan.

A visitation will be held Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with funeral services beginning at 1:00 PM all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville. Burial will follow immediately after at New Busse Cemetery near Weisburg, Indiana.

Memorials may be given to New Testament Baptist Church in Penntown by bringing to services or mailing to Meyers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 202, Batesville, IN 47006.
