Edith C. Bible, age, 83 years of Batesville, IN formerly Linden, IN passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2007 in Cincinnati, OH. Born December 10, 1923 in Tallahassee, FL she was the daughter of the late Moseley C. Sr. & Gladys (Hamblen) Collins. She was a graduate of Leon High School in Tallahassee, Florida State University & attended Duke University to get her Registered Dietitian. She married Richard E. Bible on Dec. 23, 1947 in Tallahassee. Mrs. Bible was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Lawrenceburg, IN and Kappa Delta Sorority. Mrs. Bible is survived by her daughters Mary C. (Michael) Carns of North Vernon, IN & alice Bible Hartman of Sunman, IN; grandchildren Allison, Amanda & Ryan Carns. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Richard E. Bible and brother Moseley C. Collins Jr. Visitation will be Friday, March 30, 2007 from 3-4 PM followed by a memorial services at 4:00 PM at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN with Pastor Mary Tafflinger officiating. Memorials are suggested to Phi Beta Psi for Cancer Research.
