Edna Mae Covalt, age 81 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Friday, October 16, 2020 at Community South Hospital in Indianapolis.  The daughter of Lester and Frieda (nee: Meyer) Zweige was born on September 27, 1939 in Batesville, Indiana.

Edna married Hoyt Allen Covalt on June 3, 1962. He passed away in September 2008.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Elizabeth Fleenor; sister-in-law, Suzanne Sweige along with several nieces and newphews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Raymond Carl Zweige and brother-in-law, Edgar Fleenor.

Cremation was chosen and there are no service plans at this time.
