Edward Joe Peters, age 61 of Greensburg, IN passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Margaret Mary Health in Batesville, IN. Born September 11, 1952 in Greensburg, he is the son of Donald L. & Leona J. (Schwier) Peters. He married Linda Pike on July 24, 1992 in Elizabethtown, KY. Edward loved being outdoors, training & riding horses and he loved to cook & grill out. His family said he could make all food taste good. He also loved his dogs. He was a wonderful family man who will be missed and was loved by them very much. In addition to his parents Donald L. & Leona J. Peters of Greensburg, IN he was also survived by his wife Linda Peters, his step children Jenny Saler of Avon, IN, Glenn (Dee) Saler of Batesville, IN & Julie Saler of Greensburg, IN. He will also be missed by his step grandchildren Sydney, Trevor and Sophia Wood, Chloe & Alex Saler and his siblings Gregory, Bradley & Eric Peters and Peggy (Larry) Welsh all of Greensburg. Services for Mr. Peters are planned for a later date.
