Eileen Davidson, age 72 of Batesville, IN passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at her home. The daughter of Phillip and Myrtle (Martin) Wilson was born on February 17, 1942 in Manchester, KY. She attended Clay County High School in Clay County, KY. In January 1964 Eileen married Ray Davidson. Eileen retired from Hill-Rom after 38 years and then worked part time at Dearborn County Hospital. She enjoyed cooking and used to make pies for the Brau Haus. Eileen was a hard working woman throughout her life. She truly loved her grandchildren and children and loved spending time with all of them. She is survived by her husband Ray; children Julia Hilshorst (Kenneth), Jamie Hertel (Matt) and Alvin Davidson (Richelle Minges) all of Batesville; grandchildren Austin Davidson, Jaylon Hilshorst and Katraca Davidson; along with her brothers Albert & Paul Wilson and sisters, Ollie Hensley & Phyllis Frazier. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her brothers Keen, Hubert, Bobby & Charlie Wilson and sisters Carol Frazier, Ivory Frazier and Mavrie Allen. Visitation will be 11:00am -2:00pm on Saturday, January 3, 2015 with Funeral Service immediately following at 2pm, all at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN. Pastor Ron Bridgewater officiating. Burial in the Batesville United Methodist Cemetery, Batesville, IN. Memorials may be given to the Hanson Health Center c/o the funeral home.
