Elmer Hollin, age 69, of West Harrison, Indiana passed away Saturday, September 3, 2011. He was born on May 22, 1942 in Dearborn County, IN to Lee & Rellia (Gibson) Hollins. The Hamilton Foundry molder married Helen Patrick on April 26, 1963. Elmer enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He had a 1957 Chevy which he showed at several car shows, winning trophies as well. He was a faithful church member of the West Harrison Penticostal Tabernacle. Elmer was a wonderful family man who will be greatly missed by all. He is survived by his wife Helen, son Allen (Carolyn) Hollin of Harrison, OH and daughters Tammy (Terry) Powell of Cedar Grove, IN and Lisa (John) Riddell of Guilford, IN; grandchildren, Aleisha Riddell, Angela Powell, Brittany Hollin, Sarah Hollin; siblings Charles Smith of Lawrenceburg, IN, Lowell Hollins of Bright, IN, Anna Gullett of Batesville and Carl Hollins of South Carolina. In addition to his parents he was preceeded in death by his brother McKinley Hollins and sister Sue Schreiner. Visitation Wednesday, September 7, 2011 5-8pm at W. Harrison Penticostal Tabernacle. Funeral Thursday, September 8, 2011, 10am at the church. Wade Hicks & Hobart Bowling officiating with burial to follow in Gibson Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the church c/o the funeral home.
