Estal Gilbert Gunter, age 77 years of Batesville, IN passed away Saturday, July 12, 2008 in Indianapolis, IN. Born July 11, 1931 in Batesville, he was the son of the late Vernon & Edna (Richter) Gunter. Mr. Gunter started and was owner/operator of Gunter Bulldozing and a life long farmer. He married Mable Biddle on April 14, 1951 in Penntown, IN. He was a member of Adams Lutheran Church & F.O.E. 1130 Batesville. He loved to dance with his wife. Mr. Gunter is survived by his wife Mable Gunter, daughter Linda (Gary) Vincent; sons Garold (Sue) Gunter, Raymond (Marie) Gunter & Jan (Monica) Gunter all of Batesville, IN. He will also be missed by 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, sister Lavonne Huber of Blue Creek & brothers Harold, Mervin & Kendall Gunter all of Batesville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Velma Belter & brothers Dale, Allen & Bobby Gene Gunter. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 15, 2008 from 5-8pm at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at 3PM at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Groth officiating. Burial will be in Adams Lutheran Church Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Adams Church or to the family.
