Esther A. Fisher, age 80 years of Greensburg, IN passed away Friday, August 20, 2010 at Morning Breeze in Greensburg. Born May 9, 1930 in Greensburg, she was the daughter of the late August & Hulda (Riefel) Pepper. For many years she worked at a pharmacy in Brookville, IN and later at Nolte's Pharmacy in Batesville, IN. She was a hard working woman being raised on a farm in Peppertown with only a sister to help with the chores. Peppertown is named after her Great Grandfather August Pepper. She also loved the Oak Ridge Boys. She graduated from Batesville High School in 1948 and married Robert Fisher on October 24, 1970 in Peppertown. She was a members of St. John United Church of Christ in Batesville. Esther is survived by her husband of 40 years Robert Fisher, sister Cecil Snowdy of Lima, OH and nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral Services only will be Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 1:00pm at St. John United Church of Christ with Rev. David Johnston officiating. Burial will be in St. John Church Cemetery.
