Esther Anna Narwold, age 98 years of Batesville, IN passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2006 in Batesville, IN. Born August 17, 1907 in Franklin County, just south of Batesville, she was the daughter of the late Fred & Lillie (Stickford) Meyer. She married Emil Narwold on August 10, 1927 at St. John Huntersville Church. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church Crossroads and the Church Ladies Aid. Mrs. Narwold is survived by her sons Allen & Cleo Narwold both of Batesville, IN; 6 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild; brothers Clarence Meyer of Morris, IN; Monroe Meyer of Batesville, IN and Wilbur Meyer of Zephyrhills, FL. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters Flora Thie, Irene Thie & Delia Narwold. Visitation will be Friday, June 30, 2006 from 5:30-8:00 P.M. at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN. Funeral Services will be Saturday, July 1, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. with a one hour visitation before all at St. Paul Lutheran Church Crossroads with Pastor Robin Owen officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Church Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Cemetery or Batesville Rescue 10.
