Ethel Louise Schrader, age 97 years of Batesville, IN passed away Thursday, April 12, 2007 at St. Andrews Health Care in Batesville, IN. Born July 27, 1909 near Sunman, IN she was the daughter of the late Henry & Carrie (Hillman) Haessig. She married Errett C. Schrader in Campbell County, KY on June 20, 1929. Mrs. Schrader was a member of Adams Lutheran Church and the Church Ladies Aid and the VFW Ladies Aux. She was also the oldest graduate of Sunman High School. Mrs. Schrader is survived by her daughter Luella Hughes of Franklin, IN; sons William & Eugene Schrader both of Batesville, IN; 15 grandchildren & 14 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Errett C. Schrader on March 19, 1976; 3 grandchildren; sisters Clara Goins and Gladys Melchiorre and brothers Floyd, Loren, Clayton, Norman, Roy & Henry Haessig. Visitation will be Friday, April 20, 2007 from 4-8 PM at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN and Saturday from 10 11 AM at Adams Lutheran Church. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM at Adams Lutheran Church with Rev. William Powlen officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Sunman, IN. Memorials are suggested to Adams Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
