Ethel Esther Thielbar, age 81 years of Atlanta, GA formerly of Greensburg, IN passed away Saturday, August 16, 2008 in Atlanta. Born August 14, 1927 in Batesville, IN she was the daughter of the late Walter & Delia (Meyer) Narwold. She was a 1945 graduate of Napoleon High School. She made wedding cakes before moving to Atlanta from Greensburg. After moving to Atlanta, she was owner/operator of a Children's Clothing Store until her retirement. She married Rollin Thielbar at St. John Church in Batesville. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Batesville & Order Eastern Star Batesville Chapter 348. Mrs. Thielbar is survived by her daughter Debbie (Larry) Hash of Columbus, IN; sons Duane Thielbar & Darvin (Connie) Thielbar both of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren Melissa Hash & Brian Hash, Adam Thielbar & Nichole Thielbar and sister Evelyn (Paul) Richards of Greensburg, IN. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 19, 2008 from 5-8pm at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 10:00 AM at St. John United Church of Christ in Batesville with Rev. David Johnston officiating. Burial will be in St. John Church Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. John UCC or American Diabetes Assoc.
