Faith E. Westerfeld, age 81 of Batesville, IN passed away Friday, December 2, 2011 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Born June 1, 1930 in Cincinnati, OH she was the daughter of the late John & Linda Adams. She worked for Feltz for a long time in the old building, then worked at Romweber as an upholsterer and then at the BHS cafeteria. Faith married Carl Jobst and he preceded her in death August 1969, then married Roy Westerfeld and he preceded her in death on October 22, 2008. She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and former member of Eagles 1130. She was an avid Reds fan and attended Opening Day for many years. She also loved animals. Faith is survived by several nieces & nephews. She will also be missed by her sister Elsie Hughes of California. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her sister Louise Leigh & brothers Edward & Elmer Adams. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 7, 2011 from 9:00am until time of service at 11:00am all at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN with Rev. David Johnston officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. John UCC, Ripley Co. Humane Society or VFW c/o the funeral home.
