Bro. Franklin "Paul" Riggs, age 80 of Cincinnati, OH passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Born September 22, 1931 in Lebanon Junction, KY he was the son of Damon & Mary (Bohanon) Riggs. He was an over-the-road truck driver for OK Trucking for 40 years and a minister for over 50 years. He married Ellen Boggs on Feb. 6, 1971 in Newport, KY and was a member of Grace Fellowship Baptist Church. He was also a 32 degree Master Mason of the Norwood Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati & Cincinnati Shriners. Bro. Riggs is survived by his wife Ellen Riggs, children Kathy (Larry) Fiedler of Dayton, KY, Cindy Hawkins of Cleves, OH, David (Kris) Yeary of Cincinnati, OH, Bruce Yeary of Cincinnati, OH, Franklin P. (Annette) Riggs II of Cincinnati, OH, Rebecca (David) Riggs-Phillips of Coldfield, TN and Sara (Tom) Bien of Cincinnati, OH. He will also be missed by his 18 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and brother Charles (Ruth) Riggs of Maineville, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Rex Riggs, Frances Bryant, Margie Norman, Ann Cross, Thomas Riggs & 3 infants. Visitation will be Friday, March 30, 2012 from 7pm until time of service Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 10:00am all at Grace Fellowship Baptist Church, 407 Walnut St., Elmwood Place, OH with Pastor Dennis Henson officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill, KY. Memorials are suggested to the church.
