Frederick H. Krieger, age 87 of Batesville, IN passed away Monday, August 27, 2007 in Batesville. Born September 13, 1919 in Batesville, he was the son of the late Charles & Elizabeth (Geiger) Krieger. Mr. Krieger was a life long farmer. He was married to Dolories Firsich on May 18, 1946 at St. Paul Crossroads Church by Rev. Charles Mueller. Mr. Krieger sang in the church choir, served on the church council & thought Sunday School for over 50 years. He was also a member of the Luther League & the church brotherhood. Mr. Krieger is survived by his wife Delories Krieger, sons Eugene (Mary Lou), Douglas (Esther) & Robert (Anita) Krieger all of Batesville, IN & Fred A. (Ann) Krieger of Greensburg, IN; daughter Kathleen (John) Westerfeld of Batesville, IN; 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren & 1 great great granddaughter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Rebecca Krieger, daughter-in-law Kathleen "Kessens" Krieger & sister Edna Wessel. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 28, 2007 from 4-8pm at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN. Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 11:00am at St. Paul Lutheran Church (Crossroads) with Pastor Robin Owen officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Church Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church or St. Paul Cemetery.
