G. Wayne Emmert, age 71 years of Union, KY formerly Harrison, OH passed away Thursday, October 30, 2008 at his home. Born May 25, 1937 in Harrison, OH he was the son of the late John W. & Gladys (Loos) Emmert. He was a 1955 graduate of Harrison High School & 1972 graduate of University of Cincinnati. He was an US Army veteran. He married Doris Kuehn on July 20, 1957 in Harrison. He was a member of the Richwood Presbyterian Church in Walton, KY. Mr. Emmert is survived by his wife Doris Emmert, daughters Julia (Mike) O'Reilly of Columbus, OH; Jennifer (Keith) Birkhold of Auburn, IN; Doris Ann (Christopher) Bryan of Grand Rapids, MI & Jean (Andrew) Eschenbach of Cincinnati, OH. He will also be missed by his 12 grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, November 3, 2008 from 10am until time of service at 1pm all at the First Presbyterian Church, 115 S. Vine St., Harrison, OH 45030 with Rev. Bill Owens & Rev. Jean Frable officiating. Private burial will take place on Tuesday at Glen Haven Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Richwood Presbyterian Church or Hospice of Bluegrass Northern Kentucky.
