Gary Eugene Grubbs, age 70 of Okeana, OH passed away Friday, May 25, 2012 at his home. Born August 1, 1941 in Cincinnati, OH he was the son of Eugene V. & Florence (Henderson) Grubbs. He married Jennifer Frazer on November 27, 1969 in Cincinnati, OH and attended St. John United Church of Christ in Harrison, OH. Mr. Grubbs was a sales representative for Hunter Douglas. Gary is survived by his wife Jennifer Grubbs, children Robert (Leanne) Grubbs of Euclid, OH, Kelly (Dave) Fox of Bright, IN, Tricia (Stephen) Cicak of Columbus, OH, Ryan (Andrea) Grubbs of Harrison, OH & Matthew (Susan) Grubbs of Cincinnati, OH. He will also be missed by his brother John (Nancy) Grubbs of Houston, TX and grandchildren Robert Grubbs, Seth, Sid & Savanah Fox, Nick Cicak, Austin & Alec Farmer, Ryan & Elizabeth Grubbs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son William Eugene Grubbs. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 30, 2012 from 10am 12 noon followed by services at 12 noon at St. John United Church of Christ, Harrison, OH with Rev. Dr. Harold Shackelford officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Cincinnati or St. John UCC c/o the funeral home which can be brought to the visitation/service or mailed to the funeral home.
