George Henry Getz, age 90 years of Cleves, OH passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2005 in Cincinnati, OH. Born Sept. 4, 1914 in Cleves, OH, the son of the late Joseph & Clara (Fischer) Getz. He was a farmer for Happy Hill Farms for 13 years and a US Army Veteran during WWII. Mr. Getz is survived by his wife Helen (Garrison) Getz of Cleves, OH; children Charles Robinson of Blue Ash, OH; Shirley (Robert) Neeley of Fairfield, OH; George L. (Pearl) Getz of Hooven, OH; Joyce (Richard) Davis of Cleves, OH; Ellen (George) Knothe of South Carolina and Jim Getz of Cleves, OH. He will also be missed by 21 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, his brother Walter Getz of Cleves, OH and sister Alice Fohl of Colerain, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Harry, Ed, Mike & Charles and sisters Irene & Mary. Graveside services will be Saturday, June 18, 2005; 12:00pm at New Haven Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Harold Shackelford officiating. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Cincinnati c/o the funeral home.
