George John Gruenloh, age 90 years of Batesville, IN passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2005 in Batesville. Born August 11, 1914 in Covington, KY he was the son of George & Margaret (Thiel) Gruenloh. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII and Korea, retired as an electrical engineer and later managed the Gibson Theater in Batesville and attended the Batesville United Methodist Church. He married Virginia Reiss on Feb. 20, 1943 in Cincinnati, OH. Mr. Gruenloh is survived by his wife Virginia Gruenloh, daughters Tina (Jim) Noonan of Fischers, IN and Donna (Steve) Macke of Batesville, IN; grandchildren Kaitlynn & Tyler Macke and Andrew Noonan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 5 sisters. Visitation will be Friday, May 20, 2005 from 5-7pm. Funeral Services will be Saturday, May 21, 2005 at 10:00 AM all at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN with Rev. Larry Marhanka officiating. Burial will be in the Batesville United Methodist Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites. Memorials are suggested to Batesville Rescue 10 or Riley's Children Foundation.
